Album

Brainwashed is the twelfth and final studio album by English rock musician and ex-Beatle George Harrison. It was released posthumously on 18 November 2002, almost a year after his death at age 58, and 15 years after his previous studio album, Cloud Nine. Recordings began over a decade before Harrison's death but were repeatedly delayed. The album's overdubs were completed by his son Dhani, session drummer Jim Keltner, and longtime friend and collaborator Jeff Lynne. Album George Harrison Harrison - Brainwashed 2002. Harrison had been working on the album on and off since 1988. Any Road, the album's leadoff cut, was written as the Cloud Nine album was wrapping up. Run So Far appeared on his friend Eric Clapton's 1999 album, Journeyman. The result is an album very much in tune with Harrison's later days, when he was at peace with his. George Harrison was the youngest and quietest Beatle. He was also the first to write a song about what a drag it was to be a Beatle: Dont Bother Me, for the 1963 British LP With the Beatles. He never stopped writing about it. Harrison died before he could finish Brainwashed. But his co-producers - his son Dhani and ELOs Jeff Lynne - have completed the album with impressive sensitivity, to the point that Harrison feels immensely present: strong and centered in his singing over the lazy rivers of strum, uncrowded by excess reverb or overstuffed choruses
