I would vote the original Annie of Tharau my all-time favorite instrumental release by any artist. The album had ten medleys consisting of two or three folk songs per track. The original Annie was issued in the mid 60's on Polydor in Europe and by Warner Brothers in America where it was called The Big Beat Folk Sounds of Old Germany.
